Discrimination in the (Digital) Gay Community
Whether you're technologically illiterate or the next social media superstar I'm going to take a guess and say that you're probably somewhat familiar with online dating. Grindr, Tinder, Scruff, Her, Recon, and Jack'd are just some of the many ways that the LGBTQ+ community has utilized this technological age to meet, date, and have some "fun" with one another.
But at the end of the day digital spaces are still public domains. And therefore are extensions of our own personal thoughts and feelings. Sadly, one of the most noticeable trends in LGBTQ focused/friendly apps has been an air of discrimination.
